Tony(the cat)Ogden joined the club just after the transition from youth football into the 'Bristol & Avon League' and was instrumental in the success of the team in those early days. It was through Tony that we graduated from 'boys football' through his connections, and bringing to the club experienced players such as Sean Bailes(ex-city/rovers), Pat Sliney(ex-St.Pancras and now his boss)and a couple more to galvanise the youngsters.
Tony had the perfect physique for a goalkeeper, over 6'tall and could drop kick the ball right into the oppositions penalty area, His Ex clubs include Bristol Rovers/St.Pancras (where he is a leg end to this day)Gardiners/Erickson Picksons the list is endless of these renowned clubs. He played for Brimsham through the early days upto when the club reached the Bristol & District league Div 2.
Other rolls Tony has occupied at the club, he was our first Chairman, a post he held with distinction and pride, and is now responsible for the production of our match day programme.
