HEADLINES

• Made for Ever deducted a further 3 points for fielding a player while under suspension by the 'GFA' in the game against Brimsham Green.
• Brimsham secured the point they needed to avoid the drop with a 3-3 away draw at Greyfriars, and followed it up with a 1-1 away draw with bottom team Oldland Res to finish 4 points clear.
• Brimsham's bid to get the one point they need to avoid the drop was dealt a blow with the fixture away to 'Greyfriars' called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
• After the weekend results Brimsham need only 1 point from their remaining 3 fixtures to avoid relegation.
• After losing to Highridge Utd 3-2 in a tight game, Brimsham bounced back with an emphatic 5-1 win over fellow strugglers 'Oldland Abb; Res'
• Brimsham Green earned a valuable away point with a 0-0 draw against high flying local rivals Old Sodbury in a robust but entertaining game only let down by a weak referee.
• Brimsham's return fixture away to Seymour ended in a 0-0 draw with very few chances for both teams
• Brimsham had 3points snatched from their grasp when they allowed Seymour to earn a point with a late equaliser, after Steve Bull making his debut had given Brimsham a 1st half lead
• After a 6 week lay off Brimsham were back in action and went down 1-2 in an entertaining game away to Bristol Manor Farm Res, with Andy Hellen scoring in the second half and almost snatched a point when Matt Cole fired wide with only the keeper to beat.
• Brimsham for the 2nd week in succession took an early lead away at Henbury, only to find themselves 1-3 behind at the break, but bounced back to draw 3-3 to earn a vital point.

• The funeral of former manager Keith Davis took place'Westerliegh Crematorium' such was the man there was standing room only.
• Brimsham Green FC is very saddened to learn of the sudden death of former 1st and Res team manager Keith Davis after a short illness. R.I.P. my friend.
• Training at Chip/Sodbury school has now finished until next season
• There is now a club fine of £5 for any player being shown a yellow card for dissent. You have been warned !!
