Losing at home 2-3 to Highridge.      Brimsham Green kicked off their new season going down 3-5 at home to their old rivals Totterdown Utd in a highly entertaining game. Henbury Res 6

Having finally managed to put out close to a full squad, we had high hopes of getting something out of this, how wrong were we but the game wasn't as bad as the score suggests.
We went in at half-time 1 down due to a deflected shot off of Louis Davey but there is no blame on him (honest).
After a stern team talk at half-time, the team went out fired up and all our plans were in tatters as Henbury were awarded a penalty with-in 20 seconds of the game restarting, that they converted to make it 2 nil, the formation was changed as we hoped to get ourselves back into the game but chasing it left us very open at the back and a Henbury team consisting of 8 players that have played county football for their 1st team this season were able to take advantage and started to rattle the goals in.
I feel 6 nil was a little harsh in the end and we will forward to see what team Henbury put out against us in the return fixture.
